Are more music festivals accepting Electronic Press Kits these days? It depends. Festival Network Online recommends having both on hand, a snail-mail press kit, and an EPK.

Many of the larger music festivals out there have tuned in to the conveniance of EPK's but do not make them mandatory for submission.

The bottom line, in these days of growing technology and increased reliance on the internet for communications, all bands and musicians should go ahead and set up an EPK with a trusted source like Sonic Bids. But the days of licking stamps and paper press kits are far from out of style.
