    Music Festivals and EPK's

Are more music festivals accepting Electronic Press Kits these days? It depends. Festival Network Online recommends having both on hand, a snail-mail press kit, and an EPK.

Many of the larger music festivals out there have tuned in to the conveniance of EPK's but do not make them mandatory for submission.

The bottom line, in these days of growing technology and increased reliance on the internet for communications, all bands and musicians should go ahead and set up an EPK with a trusted source like Sonic Bids. But the days of licking stamps and paper press kits are far from out of style.

It's not hard to book festival gigs. Festival Network Online shows you how to find music festivals and lets you select what music genre suits your needs, then you can see if the festival is hiring local, regional, national, or international acts. They give you the music festival entertainment director's name, number, and email address. You can also find out what's the pay, deadline, and number of stages.

Coffee shop gigs are fine but what about a crowd like this?
